Greetings Church Family and Christian Friends,

The Psalmist says, “Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!” Psalms 133:1

We are children of the Most High God with a charge to keep. Our mission and calling is to help build the Kingdom of God. We are delighted to serve you as God’s chosen and my prayer is that you continue to serve others.

I wanted to take the opportunity to remind you of our upcoming endeavors and to encourage you to pursue all of the spiritual endeavors WOLCF has to offer to its membership and visiting friends.

Other Upcoming Services and Events

On this coming Sunday February 19^th, we will have VIRTUAL SERVICES ONLY. We are starting a new Spiritual Development (Church School) series “Journey into Intimacy with God” a study on the life of Moses. This Sunday’s lesson topic is “Drawing Closer to God.” We invite everyone to join us every Sunday at 9:30am. During our worship service I look forward to preaching the gospel to you and your family. Be sure to invite others to join us.

On Sunday March 5^th, following our in-person service we have a scheduled outing at 2pm. Bowling at Palace Social 4191 Bellaire Blvd, Suite 150 Houston, Texas 77025. Note: If you have not signed up for this event, please reply with text the word “Bowling” to 903 320-5937.

On Sunday March 12^th, we have been invited to fellowship with Pastor Jerry Jones of (Ebenezer Praise and Worship Center 6014 Fuqua St., Houston, TX 77048) in celebration of their church anniversary. I will be preaching this service. The start time is 10am. We will not have our regular services on that day; however, I am inviting you to join WOLCF in attendance or on zoom for this occasion.

During the week of Spring Break (March 13-17), the children’s ministry will go skating (Dairy Ashford Roller Rink 1820 S Dairy Ashford Rd St. Houston, Texas 77077) We encourage all parents and grandparents to connect with our children’s ministry director (Dovie Ford) and teachers (Eloisa Mendoza and Kendra Franklin) for more details for this outing. We are also asking for volunteers to help chaperone the children. Note: If you have not signed up for this event, please reply with text the word “Skating” to 903 320-5937.

Lastly, I want to thank those who fellowshipped with us during the Super Bowl game. What a great time we had watching a great game.
